In its first meeting at the current session, the Communications and Technology Committee of Asharqia Chamber selected Nasser bin Rashid Al Bajash as its Chairman and Khalid Al Thawadi as Vice Chairman.
Al-Bajash won 16 of the 25 votes cast for the presidency, while the committee member Bassel al-Dosari received 9 votes. On the other hand, Khalid al-Thawadi won the position of vice president; winning 10 votes while Abdul Rahman al-Harbi received 9 votes and Mohammed al-Omar received 6 votes.
The Chairman of Asharqia Chamber, Abdul Hakim bin Hamad Al-Ammar Al-Khalidi, has launched the work of the Committee by expressing the hope that the Committee will continue its achievements at previous sessions of the Governing Council. He stressed the keenness of the Board of Directors of the Chamber to increase efficiency in the committees sector, because the future carries with it the many things, broad ambitions, challenges, and opportunities available.
